Intimate relationships—between friends, colleagues, consumers / brands — are being rebuilt. Intimacy is having a major moment. It’s timely. It’s part of the cultural conversation.&nbsp; Intimacy is comfort and confidence; a connectedness and closeness with yourself that starts with your first layer. In the midst of a total rebrand, Bare Necessities had the opportunity to evolve it’s brand storytelling and ensure that it leads with imagery that is bold and evocative. While the intimates category is going through a bit of a renaissance, it is still, sadly, drowning in a sea of sameness. And surprisingly, no one was talking about ‘intimacy’ itself. We wanted to change that. With that in mind, we engaged five photographers - Mayan Toledano, Olivia Bee, Luke Gilford, Lelanie Foster, &amp; Tierney Gearon - to capture what intimacy means to them. With this concept, we explored the everyday routines of the Laura Mercier customer. From getting ready first thing out of the shower to meeting friends for a night out or admiring artwork in a gallery, we highlighted moments of effortless beauty. For social, we developed 15- and 5-second countdowns for each product, showcasing seamless application and ease of use, interspersed with imagery from daily life - coffee cups, journaling, and alarm clocks. Spring 2023 was a pivotal moment for Kate Spade to reconnect with curiosity and optimism—the mindset that defined the brand from the very beginning. For Spring, a collection of content was designed to create a diverse universe with a uniquely Kate Spade personality revealing the season’s products as supporting characters in scenes lensed through the idea of “It All Started With”.
